Pick a topic she enjoys discussing and then suggest you two explore that topic further...on a date.

It might sound like this: "Yes, I really do think_____was the greatest playwright of the 20th century. Next week the drama department of______ University is performing one of his plays and I'm definitely going. I have two tickets because I was hoping not to go alone...would you like to join me?"

@MissMollyCharlotte0702 Thank you. The idea is to convey the impression that the date is about wanting to get to know her/him better, not just another chance to score.

@MissMollyCharlotte0702 I'm an old lady, took me a year to learn to use a cell phone, can't deal with social media, but some things are still the same as in my youth. Next time an old person asks you for help with using today's technology, after you help them, ask him or her a question about life and human relationships. This is, to many young people, a rich untapped resource.
I’ve worked in aged care...I could sit and listen to their stories for hours. @greenmountaingal
