You know something? I'm actually okay with being alone on Valentine's Day this year.

Mainly because I've realized that relationships really only work if you have money, which is something I've been needing more of lately :P But it's also the fact that I have a lot of unique needs that turn out to be deal-breakers for most people.

Scarface said it best, I think: "First, you get the money. Then when you get the money, you get the women."

The only Valentine's Day I was with a guy he was deployed overseas.

@ScrewThisImDone Sorry to hear that...I wish I had something better to say than that. I guess for a lot of us, you can take the man out of the war, but you can't take the war out of the man. It certainly was true in Chris Kyle's case.

My first and only relationship was just shortly after last year's Valentine's Day, incidentally. That lasted a whole two months before she showed her true colors and threw me out like I was a trash bag. That said, I can't say I've ever experienced the pleasure of being in a relationship on Valentine's Day.

But it's amazing how you can think you know someone after spending enough time with them and then they turn on you as soon as the storms of life come along.

He wasn't much of a man, I was under video games and his parents on his priority list.

@ScrewThisImDone Hmm. For my ex's list, I was under "sexual gratification by any means necessary".
