You seem like a decent guy in all fairness but just don't be mugged off. There's nothing wrong with others putting their hands in thier pockets from time to time. I've paid for way more meals than those I've taken out but some will just take the piss and expect it constantly. No doubt uve worked hard for ur money like everyone else. I'm not stingy but I'm no idiot either.

@Thingschange4444 I have just been extremely blessed Perry ,and I believe its because I learned how to sow ,
It was a lady who took me in off the streets when my world fell apart and I lost everything (If anyone ever needed to be humbled I did )Who helped me start my life over again ,so I do let women help me .but in the end they are richly blessed for doing so ,I take good care of people who are good to me .
And sorry for messing with you ,
To many little boys today think they should be pampered but I also get women are getting what they asked for ,
I am still raising my son and Grandson to be Gentlemen ,
not carpets for women either ,they won't be Neutered LOL ,
My Grandson already has an awesome girlfriend that plants a garden ,she hunts ,loves to bass fish with him ,they are not your normal teens either .
And I do agree ,we have to be careful not to have our kindness taken advantage of
but you guys have a good one ,I was not trying to bash anyone ,
but I do lean hard on people who mess with me ,I never mean anyone any disrespect
What I say is just my opinion ,,

No worries honestly. ☺ I grew up in very humble chaotic and dysfunctional childhood. Lost my brother dad and mum by the time I was 26. Then my ex wife of 25 years in 2016. Life can be cruel and all I meant in my initial comment was that it's nice to be a gentleman. But in times of equality I think things should be a little more equal as women have far better opportunities today financially than they did yeas ago. And hey. I'm a grandad to. ☺ 🖒 You take care now.

Gender doesn't matter .... the one that invites pays
@UserNameSW Agreed.

I pay on all my dates.

So I hear. I prefer to go dutch every time I get food or whatever with someone though. There are some people that will feel as though you owe them something when you let them pay, and I like to try and avoid that.
not on mine 🙄 he apparently “forgot his wallet”
TheProphet · M
@Haileygamer099 And you should have him forget your number. What a loser.
SW-User
@Haileygamer099 and I would have gone to the ladies room and apparently forgotten to have come back.
@SW-User haha true. he dumped me anyways after dating for a year... but yes if i knew how dumb he was i would have smacked him for cheating on me for 7 months and would have left

If someone asks you on a date I think it is nice for them to pay
@SW-User when my boyfriend asked me out he apparently “forgot his wallet” (he was a terrible liar so i knew he left it at his house on purpose.)
SW-User
@Haileygamer099 a friend of a friend did that to me. Never paid me back of course and it was hard to say no as he'd already ordered and I was behind him in the line 🤔
TheProphet · M
I was raised that the man always pays no matter who asks who.
SW-User
I would. I think whoever initiates should,
Yes. If they invite they pay.

If it is a date then yes he pays, if I see an old friend and we say, hey let's get together for lunch next week and catch up then that is different.
Generally, it should be mutual but mostly the one who invites lightens the weight of their wallet.
It seems like that’s when it would make sense. Nowadays there are different schools of thought otherwise.
