Boyfriend demands me to cook

Hi guys, so I have been living with my bf for about half a year and I have never been one to cook but he loves cooking himself so I´ve never thought too much about it. He´s really good at it, loves doing it and always chooses something super elaborate to make. I on the other hand suck at cooking I mean I could possibly do it but I don´t particularly enjoy it neither do I enjoy cooking meat or something elaborate (which is what my boyfriend likes) for me the perfect meal is pasta. Anyway recently my boyfriend has had something to say about me not cooking for him although I am the one who takes care of our flat, who cleans it up and also washed the dishes after he cooks dinner. I also help him when he´s cooking.. but few days ago he has expressed that I should cook too and it makes me angry and quite sad because I didn´t know it would be such a big deal for him. I kinda want to start doing it but I´ve already got a lot of work to do and I just don´t like the thought of having another thing to do even more since I don´t enjoy it. I don´t want to tell him to eff off but on the other hand I don´t feel like it´s exactly fair for me to have to take care of everything.. what would be your point of view and advice?
