What is the point of jealousy?

These people do not see how they're suffocating you. They only respond to their insecurity and cannot understand how you can be an independent person.

I got jealous ONCE last year, I had to tell myself off it wasn’t me at all. Someone in my family sent me a link via text to me - the link was a link of their new big house worthy quarter of a million, at first I didn’t know what it wasn’t or how to open the link then after a few days it all fell into place and after thinking about the time it’s taken me to work for what I have under different more honest circumstances, blood sweat and tears on my own home I felt so jealous and the fact that they sent it to me on my birthday- bog Off I thought 💭 lol but I’ve visited them now and their house is just a house and to be honest it doesn’t look like it’s worth quarter of a million because it’s smaller than I exepected for that amount of money. And last I heard they are house poor. Silly soda lol

Shows they have feelings for you.

Some people feed off jealousy to reassure themselves that their partner's still love them as well...my ex spent plenty of time 'trying' to make me jealous and I can tell you that is just as frustrating as a jealous partner 😴

Jealousy only exists when we are too weak to trust someone we care for, and believe that we are as valuable to them as they are to us.
