How do u get him to say yes when the world and everything else tells him yes

I fell for him but his job gets in our way and so does everything else. I feel like I'm just one big cosmic joke.

I don't want to wrap him around my finger I just want to make him happy so I don't need the gene I'm not looking to manipulate him. It would seem I'm born without many things in life but i am who I am can't change that.
