This guy is taking forever to text me back?

Not many hot guys ask for my number, so when they do I don’t hesitate to try and get to know them. So yesterday at the mall he asked for my number and it took him 6 hours to text me back after we said hi to one another. It was late for me so I just went to bed and messaged him this afternoon. He still hasn’t responded. Is he not into me or something? Maybe I’m not what he thought when we spoke?
