Do you think in a marriage either man or woman should be 'the boss'?

Honestly, I don't think so. If i'd have nothing to say, I don't want a relationship at all. And it doesn't mean that I would ever want to be 'the boss'. I'd hate even the thought of it. I think in a relationship it's all about respect and being able to make compromises, and truly listening to each other, paying attention with each other's wishes. And when two people are too different from each other, I think they just won't match.. My thought. What's your thought?

The husband is the head of the family. That is what is proper and emotionally healthy
@GoodoldBob Sais a man... I am not sure if that's emotionally healthy for the woman though.

@GoodoldBob Excuse me? Are you in the same year as I?

@ItsAllAboutLove Truth is, there will always be a "boss". At some time or another one of you wants plan A and the other wants plan B and ultimately one of you gets their way and the other doesn't. It works better, with less fighting and bitterness, if you have decided up front he is th eboss

@celine211 Have you read the letters of Saint Paul?

@GoodoldBob Nope fill me in
@GoodoldBob I more believed, and been told a lot, a realtionship is all about "give and take". One day i'm the boss, the other day he's the boss. Not the same person should always get his ways... Just my thought.

@celine211 You will find them in your bible. It's a bit much to summarize here
@GoodoldBob The Bible also has written we are all created by the image of God. :)
