Longest it took you to get over a heartbreak?...

I haven't gotten over this one yet,but the longest I've took to move forward was around 5 months. This one might be worst, 3 year engagement and it ended suddenly. She also cheated as I've now found out....Wonder how long it will take to recover this time....think the worst part of heartache is over (I say that today but tomorrow who knows) now I'm just getting use to breaking habits we had together.

Lol,I call, but I don't ask for her back. she kicked me out and left to another state....I'm trying to leave her alone, she dropped me so fast that it's hard for me to get use to it. I'm learning to accept it now. I was trying to be her friend and support her,but she doesn't even like talking to me, she changed over night....definitely an adjustment for me.I still care for her, so I have to just shut that down I guess, I worry about her a lot. that's about it.

That's really caring of you but it's going to hurt u. When girls get to this point, the best is to leave them alone , if u want to send a caring msg keep it short and neutral. She may be turned off by too much affection at this point. Once she is cooled down, she may even reach out again.

I agree, thank you. it hard to hold back though. I'm use to making sure she's happy. That I think is the hardest part is trying not to contact her. I hope one day she will want to be friends.
