how do you get over someone?

There's this guy that I just can't get over. We haven't talked in months after this really bad fight we had and I keep telling myself that i'm over him but I don't think I 100% am. There's times that I think about him, and even miss him and I just want to know some ways to get over him so I can move on with my life.
