Is romantic love only for courting a husband or a wife? Or can it last until death do us part?

Or is it only a select few who know how to rekindle that spark....and only if both the husband and wife want that kind of loving relationship.

Imo, it's a way of being. True romantics just are. Romance can be as simple as a look or a certain touch. Doesn't always have to be a grand gesture.

If both people want to work at it then it's possible. It's much easier if and I don't know if its possible without the right conditions. The right conditions being Maslows hierarchy of needs.
