Some people are really truly so lonely as to grab on to anything that feels nice because they're desperately needy for any intimacy.
Socially they're lost, stuck fantasizing on the internet, in love with the grocery checkout gal because she's really outgoing and talkative and smiles as she blips his groceries, and they discuss recipes or new products for 1 minute.
