Just bumped into my ex bf who tried to destroy my life. He was carrying the bag I gave to him. I found that weird. Does it mean anything?

Ex bf tried to ruin my life when i suggested we take a break to see if he would change. He ended up dating a series of girls right after and now he is dating the exact copy of me (even though he always complained about me and what I do), etc. Why would he be wearing the stuff I gave him if he hates me so much
