There are a large numbers of fakes and a big majority of those are men pretending to be women. His assumptions may have been more about that instead of any preconceived notions of anything else. I don't know why it should matter what anyone's sexual preferences are anyway unless they consider this site as solely for sexual purposes. It would be refreshing to talk to someone without sexuality even becoming part of the conversation.

Despite education and avenues people can take to discover their true selves, people are still afraid, and I think it's getting worse. It's easy for people to hate what they don't understand, and they don't want to understand or accept anything that's not like they are. It's so sad.

I like to think that we're progressing as a species, so I keep reminding myself that evolution is messy. Two steps forward, one step back on a cultural level. Sorry you're having to deal with that BS.
