BlueMetalChick: I wouldn't follow anyone to such a place. I'm not sure everyone realizes how awful and scary Hell is. Hell is a place of constant torment, with no relief, forever and ever. While it is true, others will be there, none of them will keep each other company, nor be able to see each other. Not ever. They won't be talking, seeing, or partying with each other.

Ever been in a cave that is so dark you can't even see your hand if you hold it up before your face? Where it's impossible to see anything at all? That is called "outer darkness". Hell is a place of outer darkness. People who go there will be in total darkness, totally alone in that place, in that they will not be able to see, but may hear other's screaming. That is, if they can hear the screaming above their own.

Imagine how you felt when you had the worst nightmare ever. So bad, that you woke yourself up screaming in pure panic and terror. That is child's play compared to Hell. Nothing compares. A place where words could not even begin to describe, nor do justice. I'm thankful that doesn't have to be our fate. People can laugh at me and make fun. I honestly don't care. I tell those who will listen, about Jesus, because I don't want to see anyone go to Hell. People do have a choice, regardless of what they may think or feel, and what people decide to do, will actually be the most important decision they've ever made in their entire life, because that choice, determines where they shall spend eternity.

What people don't get, is that Jesus is not the bad guy here. He came to save people...not hurt them. If it weren't for his free gift of salvation, we'd all go to Hell. He provided a way out. We'd all be very foolish not to accept it. I want people to really understand and get the why of things. Salvation is so easily misunderstood and misinterpreted. God's not willing that any perish. That's why Jesus volunteered to come down from Heaven, become a living sacrifice and die on the cross, to pay for the sins of the world. Why? Because sin separates us from God. God is so Holy, he cannot even look on sin. Heaven would not even BE Heaven if sin were there. "Without the shedding of blood, there is no remission (forgiveness) of sin." Hebrews 9:22. Only someone who is sinless and pure could pay for sins with their blood. That left everyone on earth in a real fix. Destined for Hell. But Jesus loved us so much He volunteered to shed His precious blood so you and I could have our sins paid for, so we could have eternal life. If He gave His all, why can't we? This is a person who truly deserves our love and praise. Not ridicule, ungratefulness, nor mockery. This is a man who loved you and I so much, He laid down his very life. He didn't have to. He wanted to. He volunteered, and no man has ever suffered like Jesus did when he hung suspended on that cross, between Heaven and Hell. Did he deserve that? No. Yet He did it out of pure love, because He felt we were worth it. People can make fun of me, but they have no right to make fun of Jesus. "For God SO loved the world [me and you] that He gave His only begotten Son...that whosoever believes in Him [Jesus], shall never perish, but shall have the promise of everlasting life." John 3:16. It doesn't get better than that. That's the only way to Heaven. And even when people laughed, spit, and mocked Him, still...He called them his friends. "Greater love hath no man, than this, that He laid down His life for His friends." John 15:13. Are our hearts so cold we cannot see this? He's the best friend you'll ever have in this entire world. He loves each and every one of us unconditionally. He didn't just say it. He proved it.
