Do you love the person you are with or is it you love something they give you?

@SW-User In all honesty, that’s how my relationship was for a while. The last 3 years we’ve really grown a lot together and I was really shocked the day I realized how much I truly loved him. It just kind of snuck up on me! lol I hope the same will be true for you 💕

@SW-User I used to feel/think the same. Plus, I’d previously been in an incredibly romantic, intensely passionate relationship and I felt that since my current guy and I didn’t have that exact sort of chemistry we could never have true love. However, there are all types of love. And honestly, I had the wrong mindset about it all. Everything in our lives stems from our perception a of what we think it will be/accept it as. I have a feeling that if you two keep trying, working on your faults, and grow together as a couple you will not only grow closer but find yourself falling for him more and more over time. It wasn’t until I let my guards down and started believing in him and us that we really started making so much progress. The first two years were alright. Content and rocky at times. The past three years have gotten better and better and I’m so happy I didn’t give up on us 💕
