Think energy. Cause and effect
SW-User
@BaldAndBold Elaborate? We effect each other, and that binds us?
@SW-User how can it not?
SW-User
@BaldAndBold I'm just trying to be sure I understand you. But how do we effect each other?
@SW-User look up the Buttefly Effect, may help you see it.
SW-User
@BaldAndBold I'm familiar with the concept. It's a bit too romantic for my tatses. It's charming to think that everything impacts everything else. I prefer to think in terms of our inherent commonality, which we hold by virtue of our collective humanity.
@SW-User ah, then you've missed the lesson of life. Everything we do has an action and reaction. Get out of your head and into your heart, that's where the truth lies. Not the emotions of it, the compassion of it.
SW-User
@BaldAndBold Humans being in our heads is what gives us strength. Cause and effect is not the same thing as the butterfly effect.
@SW-User not true. You love from the neck up. Logic will keep you frustrated. Go within, or don't. The choice is always yours.
SW-User
@BaldAndBold Logic gives us modernity. There is nothing good about "going within". I would rather be frustrated with reality than comforted by the illusory.
@SW-User ah. Illusory is because you are too conditioned to experience it. I hope you overcome that.
SW-User
@BaldAndBold There is nothing to support the idea that the butterfly effect is real. it's a Philosophically bankrupt proposition. When discussing ideas with someone, I would ask that you not commit the ad hominem fallacy in the future. "You are too conditioned to understand" is not an answer that does any good to anyone.
@SW-User when I skip a stone in the water it changes the water irrevocably, you think too small. We all do.

@BaldAndBold I hate letting other people's words speak for me, bit I feel like this is relevant, starting at 2:06 -- You seem to be mirroring Deepak, and I would respond the way Sam responds. It's unfortunate that the title is so rude, though. Starting at 7:30 is the response.

@SW-User my thoughts are my own. But I appreciate the comment from a well known leader that is attempting to speak the same truth.
