Not anymore but I was. And probably the reason most people are. I thought love in the long term was easy like at the start. Lasting love I’ve come to realize requires that you consciously and actively work at it and make it a priority and it takes both. Not saying it’s not work but a job you can love.

@Thinking2much Simple and easy aren’t the same thing. None of it’s easy and simple can be tough. All I can say is that it’s worth it. Every second, every minute, and every moment of forever is worth it. Otherwise what’s the point, right?
