I'm okay with being single, but it would be nice to have someone that I really liked and had things in common and accepted me for me, I've been single since my mid 20s

Maybe the right person will come along at the right time. I think it's just difficult being patient sometimes. That doesn't mean you'll never find them though.

I understand that, but you could also find those kinds of characteristics in friends. I know that doesn't always feel the same though.

Birdie, I agree.. So many people just go into relationships just to be in relationships and not be single and that's not the way to do it
shaneireland22 · 41-45, M
Birdie that's true... although not the same thing as having a girlfriend.

everything is cheaper when your single

That's probably a good thing though! Letting things happen naturally rather than forcing something with someone who isn't right, you knowv

I think I'll be single forever...I don't make an effort to find anyone and am ok with not finding another partner
CoffeeBean · 31-35, F
I guess you're right. I'm sure you'll meet the right person someday though! Don't lose hope just yet.

Birdie, it's not even something I'm seeking, but it would be nice... thanks for your answer

I think single people, regardless of age, always tend to feel that way.

I guess what i mean is, when you have been single a long time and in your 30s, like I'm 34

I've been single for like forever. I'm sort of used to it by now 😅

Absolutely! Much better to be single than in those situations.
