My late sister when she was just a little older than you on the day she told me that she had not long to live and when the conversation was near ended she said to me,
I don't think that Mat loves me,( Mat was her husband)
I asked, Why do you think that, she replied, He never said that he loved me,
I told her that some time ago that Mat had told me about his best friends house and that he had not as much as one flower grown their and she knew straight away what I meant that he truly loved her,
My sister had a beautiful garden and he admired what she had and was not criticising his best friend,
My sister died 2001 and Mat has kept that garden just same as my sister did
