I'm sure it does for the rare few...my uncle by marriage had a niece who went to a carnival and met a carnie worker and they ran off and got married, everyone in the family just knew the marriage would end quickly but the husband got a steady job and the marriage lasted for life.

I believe it does. I fell madly in love with my daughters mother at first glance and walked into a drinking fountain.
