In my country, anyone regardless of gender who married a Muslim is required to convert.
I don't think I'm up for that. But he's from Egypt so, idk man.
I mean, I love my roasted pork and am a Christian (though not baptized but still )

In the old days, the Catholics tried to convert anyone marrying them; it's why my uncle never married. He wouldn't do it.

@Softylips relations with Catholics have improved over the last generation.

The muslim religion is still relatively young and has not undergone reformation and moderation to the same extent as Christianity. Who knows in the future, but it may be too late for yourself.
