How do you respond a question you don't have answers?

I stay quite because more likely I'm not prepared, not the perfect moment or haven't crossed my mind yet..esp for a very petty, cute but critical question like "Why I'm staying?" honestly its weird there's no answer to this question.. 🙊

@Sepia I don't lie, but I end up ticking people off just the same at times.
I guess it would be best to say I am not sure how to answer this, but I panic
