How do dictators manage to stay long in the office?

@DiamondInTheMud well, they usually have an armed army ad the people are unarmed.

@DiamondInTheMud Well yeah. Look at NK. The people are starving but the army is well fed. The thing with dictators also is, say someone in NK got the idea to overthrow the little dough boy. Who could they trust? They already know if someone betrays them, they are dead. No trial, no questions, they are dead.
