Why is it so hard to meet a girl that can hold a conversation sometimes?

Most people are incapable of really saying anything thought-provoking. Our attention has been too far tuned into only seeking instant gratification. Just look at the litany of pointless questions and answers. Nobody really bothers to think that hard about anything, male or female. They mostly want quick jokes, brief summaries, and a stroked ego. Going in depth isn't a skill people care for. So long as people are being entertained, they see no reason to hold themselves accountable for anything more substantial
