Why do men *usually* approach women?

And not the other way around? Is it wired in their genes?

No, it's stupidly socially constructed. Men = alpha = has to make first move. 🙄
SW-User
i think it's deeper than just that
SW-User
Also women expect it because of social norms.

@SW-User Not all men are "alpha" and no amount of "social construction" can make people become what they are not.
SW-User
@NankerPhelge That's perfectly my point. Society expects men to be alpha and approach, but not all men are born that way which makes it difficult in that circumstance.

@SW-User Why can't society judge people by the way they were born to be? I've never had any problem with that.

The other day I saw a documentary where two male bears fought each other to death just to win the heart (and pussy) of a damn female bear. Hmm 🤔 🐻
NankerPhelge · 61-69, M
@SW-User Oh, dear. And I've always thought bears were nice. That's put a real downer on it. :(

@SW-User Animals are completely different than humans. They go by instinct 100%. People do not.
SW-User
We are animals too no 😂
SW-User
We're human beings capable of rational thought. That's the biggest difference and why humans rule the world. 😄
SW-User
Haha biologically we are animals 😏
SW-User
Yes, but we're the only species capable of inhibiting our instincts due to fear caused by thoughts. In this case, some men have approach anxiety and are deathly afraid of rejection. If we were just animals, the thought would never override the sexual need to fuck the girl he wants.
SW-User
Or there would be rape 🤔 haha.
SW-User
But sadly that happens too. Men raping women are waaaay more common than the other way around. I still think there's a biological element to it
