Like, you're smitten with someone. You give signals. And when that other person finally reciprocates, you lose interest.

I'd like to say easy but maybe that's my ignorance showing. It's happened to me once at least, the last time lasting from November to May. That's when I found "the one". Nigh on 40 years seems like more. I'm kidding. Just because I refer to her as the broom pilot is probably dangerous. I don't want to get turned into a newt. Talk like that is probably why I got stood up more times than a three legged chair.
