Literally doing this tomorrow. She currently has a big old crush on someone else, and just told me that she simply doesn't have feelings for me, but we remain good friends. It probably sounds very silly, but my hope is that I can prove to her that I can just be normal and fun to be around to the point where she re-catches feelings. I just have to make sure that I don't make it feel too high stakes in my brain, so that my actions aren't governed by anxiety. That's my goal for tomorrow. I just need to find ways to keep a cool head about it.

But I'm more empathetic note Yeah and I know exactly what you mean, and I'm sorry that you're also going through that sort of thing, and for what it's worth, I hope they develop a titanic crush on you too, in the course of time.

She and I have a few years of history together and definitely some baggage, but we still consider each other some of each other's best friends, and I struggle to really develop profound feelings for anyone else I think, because my dumb brain is stuck on her hahaha
