I Develop Inconvenient Crushes

It has been a tendency of mine, throughout my life, to develop inconvenient or inappropriate crushes. I find myself in that situation yet again with a colleague of mine, Smiley.
Workplace romance might not be such a taboo in waitering as it is in other professions, but it still poses a lot of potential problems.
So... I have this tiny crush on Smiley, and many have observed that he has a tiny crush on me too. It is in the way we act around each other... The way he always finds excuses to touch me - and I, him. So what is the problem, right? Well, his girlfriend just started working there too. That is what makes this little crush so inopportune. I am under no illusion that he will leave her for me - nor do I want him to. As amusing as this whole situation might be, I can't help but feeling sorry for his girl. The attraction between us is obvious, even in her presence.
I'd be lying if I said that I don't enjoy her facial ex<x>pression in these moments, but I somehow pity her. She is a nice girl and I don't mean to wreak havoc in her life. At this point, I just want this silly crush to go away.
