If you've ever had a 'rebound relationship' how long after separation/divorce/breakup/death did it occur and how long did it last (or has is lasted)?

I left my second ex in Sep 2018, flitted with dating on an off, ended up trying things out with someone new in 2020 (dating site connection), and that lasted just shy of 6 months before it blew up (I ended it), then I basically stopped dating and haven't had the confidence to really try again since now in my late 50's the sex/life thing is basically ended.

I don't really call the 2020 fling a 'rebound' but that's probably the category it would fall into to most outside observers. It just happened to sit smack on the start of the Covid Plandemic and all the shenanigans around that.

My second ex actually had a real rebound relationship - soon after I left her in late 2018 she shacked up with a former high school friend and I think that only lasted about a yr. She's also still single as far as I know.
