That’s the thing about breakups. A story becomes a moment and then that moment is gone.

Two individuals were strangers. They met. They danced. They decided to be together. These ppl become characters that are oh so familiar to the senses. Then something happens and they break apart. They break the story. You can’t know them both anymore. You have to choose. You can realistically only follow one. You could try following both, but when focusing on one you miss out on the other. Maybe you drop them both from your attention bc you couldn’t know either person separately. Last thing you know is one of these ppl dropped the other off at the mall. You don’t know what hy they were at the mall or if they were with some one or a group. Could have been a misconception; they enter one door and go out another on the other side of the building. Maybe they were in the mall crying about the break up by the gum ball machine while a toddler gets whisked away into a father’s arms for crying about a lollipop they dropped….

But ah-ha! Let’s turn this around! Let’s say you did know this about the person in the mall- What’s the person in the car doing? …Did they immediately go to a car dealership and buy a pick up truck to be less identifiable or to start a fresh beginning? Did they go straight home or to a best friends house? Maybe they got stuck at that red light and put some lip gloss on while using the rear view mirror #ClassicThatPerson; you’d know if that was the character you were following!

…One of those people could wind up living a far more interesting life than the other. Maybe even so great they impulsively want to share but hold back. You only end up knowin about whoever you follow!
