Why do people keep on hurting you when you're barely holding on

@SW-User Well the verbal abuse and lying doesn't really match up. Usually when I backtalk I always say I deserve it. This isn't the case though.

@Rilyn Everyone deserves to defend themselves. You’re not wrong for doing so. I’m sick of not defending myself for years. Why should I respect someone that doesn’t respect me?

@SW-User if they don't respect you and you keep going back (in there minds) they think your a doft touch .
They prey on that

@riseofthemachine I know but it’s my family that taught me to be scared of others and care what they think of me. It’s been hard and I’m old enough to choose how I want to respond to others. No more being a doormat for anyone.

@Rilyn Teach them a lesson that unless they change you will not care for their existence.
