Decades ago i literally walked away from a small lifetime guaranteed fortune because of betrayal; i've never,ever regretted my decision. I refused to live a lie even for guaranteed comfort; sometimes,ya gotta take a stand! It's about dignity and peace of mind.

I admire the fact that you’ve wanted to keep your marriage together for your children’s sake. My husband and I stayed together until our children were grown; we’ve been divorced for two and a half years now. In looking back I don’t regret staying, but I sure am glad it’s over. I hope one day you’ll find the companionship you so desire.

Get a divorce. Whats the point of having a miserable fake marriage for pretense? "For the kids?" To teach them that marriage is misery?
