I've been married for 20+ years, but dealing with my wife's emotional affair for a long time. We've managed to put our kids first and not allow things to blow up. But the title of this group pretty much sums up how I feel most days. As I've gotten older, I've realized that career advancement, financial success, etc. matters little when all you really want is to be loved unconditionally and to return that love. I'm guessing my story is not all that unusual.
