8 days completed in my inducing lactation journey

I'm swollen, barely getting a drop of clear liquid here and there, pumping every 2 hours, and taking Domperidone. Im starting to feel discouraged even though its early days. Wish it could be a bit more of a relaxing experience. Any tips and tricks or words of encouragement are welcome!

It takes time, patients, commitment to induce lactation. Sounds like your on your way. You need to stay hydrated.

How long do you pump ?
Are you getting good nights sleep ?
Are you hand messaging/expressing in between pumping ?

@pdockal sleep is never the best since i have to get up once in the night to pump. I pump ever 2 hours during the day for 25 minutes each time.

@Isla1088

you might want to try to get a good nights sleep instead of one nighttime pumping
if you were pumping every 2 hours instead of sleeping that might make a difference
but missing one session wont hurt
lets increase to 30minuets a pumping session
