@hollyyoung That's a 7 year age gap. When you're 50 and they're 57, that's a 7 year age gap, and it doesn't sound so large anymore. It's all about perspective and context, not about age.

@MartinTheFirst i know that, i literally commented something similar about it being okay for a 27 year old to date a 23 year old, but it’s not okay for a 20 year old to date a 16 year old ( both 4 year age gaps) but saying “age gaps don’t matter” might make the person that wrote this thing that all gaps are okay, cause that’s exactly how that sounds.

@MartinTheFirst bruh i don’t know what that person is thinking about. for all you know they could easily be talking about an illegal gap that they’re concerned with personally. it seems obvious that age gaps are okay depending on the actual age. so i didn’t think that’s what they were asking, but as i said, i already explained that a few comments down.
