I have been with my husband who is a lot older than me for nine years. Incase you are wondering I’m 39 he is 78 yet I think a lot of society does not agree with this type of relationships. We still get a lot of verbal, abuse especially me and often accused of being a gold digger or even his whore but I’m not ashamed to be with him and we always hold hands in public I’m not sure what the problem is we are both happy and it’s not harming anyone so why the stigma with these relationships?

For the most part I think it's fine, but I rarely go for it myself. When I was 16, I dated a guy for a few months who was 19, then after we broke up, I dated his dad who was 44 for almost a year. I'm still friends with both of them to this day
@MrBrownstone that's a pretty ignorant comment, 16 is legal to marry in the UK, and 12 is consensual in Mexico, I think🤔. Try to think 'www' the World WIDE Web. I.e not everyone lives in or has the same laws and culture as your country.
