Ive seen and dealt with the broken fallout from these types.
They think domination is only 'what THEY want'.
They think no means yes, and abuse is deserved'punishment' .
It's terribly wrong that the majority of these types have little idea of the depth and diversity of psychology and control that goes into this dynamic. And sadly too many women end up psychologically and physically abused.

The need to control someone completely is maladaptive mental development.

A true Dom wouldn't have dismissed her fears and told her to jump into something she had a strong aversion to. He would have delved into them, asked questions, found boundaries.
