I'm used to taking the blame. It's the philosophy of my parents' generation and how kids were raised. My parents always said that if someone does something bad to you, you must deserve it in some way. Even if you can't think of anything you've done... you must be an evil person on the inside to have bad things happen to you. Bad things only happen to bad people. And our religion reinforced this.
