Can you remember where you were when you heard the American government had killed David Koresh?

I was in Manchester, England. I was very young and this news made me very angry.

not really - it wasn't a watershed moment for me.

I do remember the official report cites koresh and others talking about putting more fuel on the fire.

and I remember thinking all he had to do was surrender.

still the event was mishandled horribly.

@LordShadowfire yeah it's hard to be a martyr when you're sitting in prison on child rape and weapon charges/allegations.

Indeed, but people like that [i]want[/i] to be martyrs, and they want to drag others down along with them in service to their delusion ... suicide-by-cop, but on a variously willing group activity scale with or without a vote
