Can you remember where you were when you heard the American government had killed David Koresh?

not really - it wasn't a watershed moment for me.

I do remember the official report cites koresh and others talking about putting more fuel on the fire.

and I remember thinking all he had to do was surrender.

still the event was mishandled horribly.

Indeed, but people like that want to be martyrs, and they want to drag others down along with them in service to their delusion ... suicide-by-cop, but on a variously willing group activity scale with or without a vote
