Have you broken away from a toxic relationship? How long did it take you to heal?

It’s taken me a few months and I am letting go of him and feeling more myself.

Almost all my life. When I was finally able to get away from ALL of those people, (because there were four of them), and two of them died, I felt such enormous relief it felt as though I might begin to float. My spirit became as light as a feather.

It's a slow and gentle process now. I live alone, and I try very hard not to dwell on the past or even think about it. I feel at peace, with God's help.
