Would you say a domestic abusive partners who are physically abusive and love control are narcissists or personality disordered?

I think all abusers are narcissists and all narcissists have a personality disorder. The danger comes when a physical abuser is also linked to drug and/or alcohol abuse, rage issues, and bipolar disorder. You can have several types of stinking fish in one basket.
