Have you had a relationship break up and your now former partner outright refused to talk about what went wrong?

I got that from my second ex. When I left her and went my own way in Sep 2018 I asked her repeatedly when she claimed to want to remain 'friends' to have a conversation to tell me from her angle what went wrong and what she thought I did wrong, but I think because it would have required a chronic narcissistic control freak princess mode personality to open up to the truth and admit her own faults it never happened.

It sucks in a way as I never actually got to know with certainty from her what I did wrong, and could only make assumptions (which I think would have been quite accurate).

I put lots of effort into trying to make the relationship work esp during the pregnancy with our daughter and after the birth because I knew my then partner was having a difficult time coping, but I got rejected at every turn and every attempt to help. I persisted for just over a year after the birth before I choose to leave.

You would think being adults that couples when they break up can face up to the problems and mistakes and issues and at least talk about them, but seems that with toxic feminist mindset types that's not really something that computes.
