Serious question for the women - do you automatically presume a single dad seeking a new partner wants a replacement mum for the kids?
After all it's almost universal that single mums seeking new partners want both an open-wallet policy from any man they choose to be with along with making the man into a substitute baby daddy.
In my experiences with dating some women actually said the reason they won't consider me when they actually did reply was that I was a single dad and they didn't want to be a 'substitute mum'. Very callous and shallow viewpoint.
But this is in a large part why men are very suspicious (more than normal) of single mums seeking new partners when those mums still have dependent (probably school age or younger) kids living with them.
I don't want a 'replacement mum' for my 9 y/o but any woman would have to accept that my daughter comes before her in the priorities and sex/dating/intimacy/relationship/etc. are not and never would be the top priority where my entire time and money go to simping for her and I negate caring for my 9 y/o almost like being a dad suddenly becomes unimportant. Not happening.
