If you've given up trying to have adult romantic sexual relationships why have you stopped trying?

For me it's because I know I just can't do it and can't meet the requirements for time, Intimacy and financial availability that women generally expect. Also I'm very scared and frightened of all things related to sex and intimacy now and feel I can never trust women in romantic connections again.

The risks seem far too high and the possible rewards do not add up. To me at least.
