Is this normal behavior for a new couple? Everyone seems to think it is besides me.

A guy I was seeing (who I still very much care about as a person and friend) got a new girlfriend. She barged right into his life immediately. Moved right in with him. And immediately started to take over his phone so much to where I've barely got to talk to him because SHE is the one on his phone respondimg to me. I've known him since he was 8 years old. I've known his family for 30 years. He has gave indications he still wants to be friends and doesn't mind talking here and there. I try to leave him alone most of the time, but even if I just tell him some funny thing or ramdom stuff, SHE is the one responding to me. She is so jealous of me and has no remorse that she basically came into the picture when he and I were still loving each other and talking. I feel like it is a huge red flag that she is constantly in his phone and last night it seemed as though she must have hijacked his phone as soon as he walked through the door from work. I recently found out she got mad just because he was engaged once.. that girl is married and happy now though.. she had no reason to get upset.. She's also in this dream state where she's saying someday they are going to have a baby.. even though he's unable to have kids. She's a nightmare to deal with, but he praises her like she's God. She's extremely immature and controlling and everyone but me has turned a blind eye to it. She also posts on his fb for him. It's like he has no mind of his own anymore

Is this facts or just your perspective of him moving on without you?

I’d say it’s not good if she is proactively taking complete control over his phone and social media. I imagine he’s tolerating the whole thing because of how good things are for him otherwise right now. I guess this will blow up at some point after the honeymoon phase is over.
