Who is 'supposed' to approach whom? And why is it supposed to be that way?

A vexed question in the realm of adult human interactions with a view to connections, perhaps sexual/intimate, relationships, and maybe more.

Most probably still believe it's up to a man to approach a woman, but women keep telling men they don't want me to approach them. Unless the man is a 'Chad' type of perceived high net worth. Then all 'standards' go out the window 8-)

I think there is a slowly growing view of the opposite - where women should approach men, though I don't have any knowledge of whether men don't want women to approach them or not.

I've never been approached by a woman with any sort of romantic intent (that I'm aware of). I don't approach women because of the 'stigma' around doing that for normal, average guys.

@lissah Don't you already have a boyfriend/partner though (going on your profile page)? You shouldn't be approaching other men. ;-)
