Like, Lust, Love

In 6th form I used to play this game with a friend called Sandra.

She'd pick a boy or a celebrity and I'd be have to say like, lust or love. Then I'd do one for her and so on.

I was thinking about this this weekend as we were back at dad's sorting through stuff. Buried in one of my mum's drawers were all my old school reports, certificates etc. Good job no employer ever asked for them I had no Idea where they were. 4As at A level which were wasted.

But seeing Sandra's name on a few things brought her back to my mind. She went off to university. I started working in a bank and dating my ex husband. We got married when I was 20. Last time I saw Sandra was my wedding where she played Like, Lust, Love with me. She picked my hours old husband and I replied ”Like” . I should have known then it was a mistake but took over 20 years to remedy that one.

That's the plot to a whole novel, right there, Angela.
I'd read it, for sure.

@KatyO83 Bloody cheek - I'm noted for my integrity you know.

Do you think it's possible to find someone who fits all three categories?

Great A Level grades by the way. Did you ever consider further education?
MrAverage1965 · 61-69, M
@AngelaR80 Wow maths is not an easy subject, I was ok at maths I got an A Level but failed further maths.

What would be most important to you now in a relationship lust, like or love?
AngelaR80 · 46-50, F
@MrAverage1965 I did pure and applied maths, further maths, stats and economics.

Yeah nerdy maths girl at school.

Like and love would be my top two.

@AngelaR80 wasn't as easy to get A grades back in your day as it appears to be now, nor as easy to get first class honours at degree level as it now appears either....

Yeah, I understand.
I've been married a long time and thought to myself so often that I married the wrong girl.
But was too late..already had children

Sometimes I just wished someone would lust for me
Wow, was that a Freudian slip?
AngelaR80 · 46-50, F
@VeronicaJane honest reaction. I remember her asking why was I marrying him. But that's water under a long bridge now.

How was it remedied? 😈
