It is hard to be a military wife. As they say, if they wanted them to have wives, they would have issued them one.

Being a military wife isn't for the codependent. It requires the willingness to take care of things on your own and to try and see if there is community support on the base.

There are benefits, but deployments can be difficult.

Former base brat here. I totally get it. My mom was basically a single mom 80% of my childhood. No fault to my dad, it just is what it is.
