Whether it’s a healthy thing to use or not, the development of the technology is going to advance the science of AI in general. Things that people learn writing and fixing these bots will be applicable to doing an actual real work somewhere.
Kind of the same way, but sending race cars to a track and having them make repeated left turns as fast as possible, helps develop newer features, and safer cars for the rest of us to drive.
